How do Golero Football Pools work?
From your first prediction to the final table: this is how to play a Golero football pool.
How do I create or join a pool?
Create a pool for an available competition or tournament in the app, or open an invitation link from a friend, coworker, or organizer. A manager may need to approve you in a private pool.
How many points does a prediction earn?
An exact final score earns 10 points. Without an exact score, you can earn points for the correct winner or draw, the correct goal difference, and one exact team score. See the full breakdown in the points table.
Which trophies and badges can I earn?
You can earn BullsEye, Hot Streak, and Oracle, among others. There are also awards for the best predictor in a round and for winning an entire pool.
Until when can I predict a score?
Normally, you can enter or change a prediction until that match kicks off. Some tournament pools work phase by phase; all predictions for that phase may close when its first match starts. The deadline shown in the app is always decisive.
Can a round award extra points?
Yes. The manager of a tournament pool can set selected rounds to award normal, double, or triple points. For example, the final can count for 3x points.
What is the difference between a football pool and fantasy football?
In a football pool, you predict match results. In fantasy football, you build a squad of real players and earn points from their performances on the pitch.

An exact score is always worth 10 points and is not added to the other components. For a non-exact prediction, the other components can be combined. Any active round multiplier is applied afterwards.
