How to request account deletion in Golero and which data is deleted or retained afterwards.
This page belongs to Golero, the football pool app by Mumba. It explains how to complete an account deletion request from inside the app and what happens to your account and gameplay data afterwards.
Open your profile in the app and tap delete account. Your account is then anonymized, while predictions and points may remain for historical rankings.
If you are logged in to the Golero app, you can start the deletion request yourself.
After confirmation, the account can no longer be used as a normal personal account. Golero anonymizes or removes directly identifying profile and login data.
Golero keeps certain gameplay data because otherwise pools, results, and historical rankings would break for other participants.
Anonymization is applied once the request has been processed in the app. There is no separate additional waiting period before profile data is cleared.
Historical predictions, points, and ranking data may then be retained without a fixed end date for as long as Golero keeps historical pool standings and archives available.
If you can no longer sign in but still want to make a request, contact Mumba at info@mumba.nl and include the email address that used to belong to your Golero account.
