What is fantasy football?
You do not predict the score. You choose the players you think will perform well.
Real performances count
Minutes played, goals, assists, key passes, saves and other match actions determine your players’ points.
Your own ranking
Your points are added up across the rounds, so you compete with other managers throughout a competition.
How does fantasy football work at Golero?
Golero Manager is about making choices each round and submitting a lineup on time.
Choose eleven players
Create a lineup with one goalkeeper and defenders, midfielders and forwards in a valid formation: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2 or 5-3-2.
Submit on time
Every round has a deadline. By default, a round closes one hour before kick-off; the time shown in the app is always leading.
Make smart changes
Your last complete team carries over to the next round. Two changes are allowed by default, although league settings can differ.
Fantasy league or football pool?
Both are about football, but you play them in different ways.

Choose players and follow their performances. Good selection choices earn points.
Football pool
Predict match results. Your points depend on how accurately you predict the score.
Play with friends
Golero supports official leagues and private groups. The app shows which competitions and seasons are available.

What is fantasy football?
Fantasy football is a game where you build a virtual squad with real players and earn points from their performances in real matches.
Do I have to predict a match result?
No. In Golero Manager you choose players. Predicting match results belongs to the separate football pools.
When is my fantasy team locked?
Each round has its own lock deadline. The default is one hour before the first kick-off, but the deadline in the app is always leading.
Can I play fantasy football with friends?
Yes. You can join official leagues and private fantasy groups when they are available.
How do I earn points in Golero Manager?
Players earn points for playing time, goals, assists, key passes, saves, penalties saved and clean sheets. Yellow cards, red cards and own goals give negative points.
How many players do I select?
A valid lineup has eleven players: one goalkeeper and the outfield players required by your chosen formation.
Which competitions can I play?
The available competitions change by season and game mode. The app shows which official Golero Manager leagues are open.

Playing-time points are not cumulative: from 60 minutes onward, a player receives 2 total points for playing time. League settings and final match data in the app are leading.
